3i raises £14,000 via Charity Bike Ride!

The company 3i, which has been a supporter of the Passage for over ten years organised a staff Charity Bike Ride on Sunday 24 June, with nearly 30 riders taking part.

The event started and finished at the Abinger Hatch pub in the beautiful Surrey Hills – home of the 2012 Olympic Road Race. Two groups of cyclists headed out – one to cover a 15 mile route, the other a 35 mile route with the benefit of some experienced ride leaders. Both groups made good time with the 15 miles completed in 1.5 hours and the 35 miles finishing in 2.5 hours.

As well as some fun, the purpose of the day was to raise money for some of the charities supported by 3i, including The Passage which received a donation of £14,000.

Thank you to everyone involved!
