Job overview:

We are currently seeking 2 EU Settled Status Project Workers. This opportunity has arisen due to changes to the rights and status of EU citizens currently living in the UK until 30 June 2021, or 31 December 2020 if the UK leaves the EU without a deal. Should people wish to stay in the UK after these dates, they need to apply for Settled Status

The role will be responsible for ensuring people understand the settle status scheme and to identify what is needed to apply and to assist people with applying to the scheme. They will also assist clients to make the application using the dedicated IT system or postal system.

Job purpose

  • Carry out assessments with clients to ensure they fully understand the scheme and decide whether they need to apply for settled status or not.
  • Assist clients to understand whether to apply for settled status or pre-settled status
  • Assist clients to assess the impact of their criminal record on their application and to understand the implications of this.
  • Assist clients to source any additional evidence that the Home Office may subsequently require.
