£27,306 pa inc LW + pension and other benefits (NJC scale range 26-28)
Hours:
35 hours per week excluding breaks working a 7 day rota

Your normal hours of working will be Monday to Friday with occasional evening work. You will be required to work one
Saturday or Sunday out of 4 on a rota system between 8.30 am and 12.30 pm
Job overview:

We are excited to be offering the role of Private Rented Solutions (PRS) Worker, to join our expanding team at The Passage. The role will promote the option for rough sleepers and low to medium need hostel accommodation residents to rent privately from landlords. The PRS Worker will be responsible for sourcing appropriate PRS accommodation and working with other members of the team to resettle our clients in to this pathway.

Job purpose

  • Source private rented accommodation solutions for people with low to medium mental health needs who are ready to move into independent accommodation and have appropriate support packages in place.
  • Maintain positive and effective working relationships with landlords and other agencies to ensure a seamless service is provided to clients.
  • Maintain a positive and effective working relationship with each client’s mental health support team.
  • Develop a personalised rehousing and tenancy sustainment package for each client drawing on the other resources available within the Client Development Department:
