Job overview:

In partnership with Brighton Council, we are starting a new project aimed at reducing rough sleeping in Brighton and Hove. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Coordinator.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for building effective working relationships with charitable and voluntary organisations and supporting them to harness their resources to avoid duplication and prevent people becoming entrenched on the streets, as well as ensuring that service users have an input in developing service models.

Job purpose

  • Build effective working relationships with services in Brighton; facilitating effective partnerships across sectors to provide a co-ordinated and consistent response to reducing homelessness
  • Undertake service priority needs assessments and produce collaborative action plans
  • Deliver or organise tailored training, in response to service and client needs, to support a psychologically informed approach and to promote the prevention of homelessness
  • Actively promote client-led participation and engagement in homelessness services
