Job overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Housing professional to help implement and manage a new support service based at our Newman Street Project. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a multi-disciplinary team providing a quality Housing, Health and Tenancy Sustainment service to residents within the project.

They will need experience of developing and leading a new team and be passionate about delivering a top quality service for the residents. They will work closely alongside other Resource Centre Teams including our Housing Options Service for Single People based at the Resource Centre.

The Project Coordinator’s focus will be the delivery and management of a quality service. Responsible for a team of 3 specialist project workers. They will also cover duty management at the Resource Centre 1 weekend in 8.

They will work towards developing effective working relationships with Housing Providers to ensure a quick and effective move on options for the residents whilst at the same time assisting with health initiatives.

 Please note:

Job purpose

  • To implement a new support service at Newman Street
  • Together with the Resource Centre Manager develop systems and protocols which allows the service to run effectively
  • To develop a support planning framework that ensures that all residents have a person centred action plan
  • To provide written reports for funders and commissioners of the service
