IT Support Volunteer

Our IT Manager works by himself and is looking for support to add quality to the service he can provide

About this Role

The IT Support Volunteer will support a laptop and PC refresh programme and updating Windows operating systems. The IT Support Volunteer will need to provide excellent customer services skills on the phone or face to face to resolve issues. The IT Support Volunteer will need to be able to think logically, prioritise workload and have a strong customer focus.

Tasks will include:

  • Installing Windows update on all Passage PC's and laptops
  • Responding to IT issues raised by staff on designated email and resolving

Qualities needed:

  • Previous experience in a first Line Support role - essential
  • Worked on laptop and PC replacement programmes - essential
  • Installed and configured Windows operating systems/applications - essential
  • Excellent customer service on the phone and face to face
  • Able to prioritise workload
  • Excellent communication skills
