Thank you for your interest in volunteering at The Passage. The Passage has a strong culture of volunteering and we are very grateful to those who offer their time and skills to support our work.

Cloakroom Volunteer – THURS am and/or pm, SAT am or SUN am

Cloakroom Volunteers ensure clients belongings are kept safe during the day by operating a cloakroom for bags, jackets and other items.

Commitment: We currently have the following timeslots available for this role:

Thursday - 7.15am - 12pm OR 12pm - 5pm
Saturday - 8.30am - 12pm
Sunday - 8.30am - 12pm

You must be available to volunteer for at least 6 months.

Digital Inclusion Volunteer

Put your computer skills to good use by supporting our clients how to navigate the web!

Commitment: Monday to Friday, flexible. One or two days a week for a minimum commitment of 6 months
2pm - 4pm

Reception Volunteer

The Reception team is responsible for manning reception from 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon - Fri. It is a busy environment dealing with visitors, staff and volunteers as well as members of the public.

Commitment: Fridays 12pm - 4.30pm weekly with a minimum commitment of 6 months

Medical Room Appointments Volunteer -Weekday

Assist the health team to provide a smooth service for clients who need medical attention by coordinating clients and the appointments list.

Commitment: 8.30am to 1.30pm on any weekday. Minimum commitment of 6 months.
We require a volunteer on every day of the week but don't expect the same volunteer to do every day - unless you want to!

Education, Training and Employment Volunteer

Support clients on a one-to-one basis to help them create CVs, develop interview techniques, learn basic computer skills and look for employment.

Commitment: Mondays or Tuesdays 9.15am to 3pm weekly, with a minimum commitment of six months.
