Christmas giving

Christmas is a joyous time of year; a time to celebrate with friends and family, in the warmth of your home, with plenty of food and cheer.  But for those who don’t have a home, and who don’t have friends or family to celebrate with, it can be more difficult than any other time of year.  Here at The Passage, we provide support, a sense of belonging and welcoming, and festive cheer for our clients over the Christmas period.

Christmas is also a time to give to others to show them that someone cares.  Thanks to some of our amazing community partners, here are just a few ways to make giving easy in the upcoming months:

  • November 28-29: The Phoenix Pub in Victoria will be holding a bake sale to raise money for The Passage. Stop by to enjoy something sweet while also supporting a wonderful cause.
  • December 6th: The London Oratory School has created a 2015 calendar with our clients and they are selling copies of it at Portobello Road Market. Pick up one of their beautifully designed calendars for the upcoming 2015 year!
  • December 22nd: The NHS Confederation Choir will be singing Christmas carols to raise money for The Passage at London Blackfriars Station. Just a few days before Christmas, this is a wonderful way to get into the holiday spirit as well as give to your community!

The funds generated from these events will go towards our work with some of the most vulnerable people in our society, and it’s not too late to get involved this Christmas to donate your time or talents to support The Passage as well. Let us know if you have any ideas to get involved with our organisation and we will be happy to discuss them with you – email [email protected]
