West End Big Busk

WEBBWest End Big Busk is an innovative new partnership between The Passage, Land Securities, and Live and Acoustic, a gigging platform for West End performers.

It launches on Thursday 26th March at 12pm at Cardinal Place in Victoria, featuring talented performers who star in a range of well-known shows including Les Miserables, Once and Rock of Ages.  Each star will busk to raise money for The Passage, a homelessness charity based in Victoria, by performing a short set of popular songs and original music, accompanied only by acoustic instruments.

The Passage is one of Land Securities’ charity partners.  All donations will go directly to The Passage’s frontline services for London’s most vulnerable people, ending homelessness for rough sleepers and providing innovative support services to ensure that formerly homeless people never return to the streets.  Donations can be made on the day, or online at www.justgiving.com/TheWestEndBigBusk.

Miranda Keast, Capacity Building Worker at The Passage, says: “This is a great example of our partners coming together to create something exciting and unique that will provide vital awareness and funds for our work”.

The Passage is extremely grateful to Alex Ellison, an actor and singer/songwriter who has taken a lead in organising the event, and to Land Securities for hosting the event at the fantastic space in Cardinal Place.
