West End Big Busk

Our first West End Big Busk on 26th March was a great success!

Land Securities, a great supporter of The Passage, let us host the event in the hugely popular Cardinal Place in Victoria.  Together with Live and Acoustic, West End Video and, of course, all the talented artists who performed on the day, we were able to raise over £300 in just two hours!  We would like to extend a special thank you to actor and singer/songwriter Alex Ellison for playing a significant role in organising this event, which provided the public with great entertainment while at the same time raising much-needed funds for an important cause.  All money generously donated by passers-by who enjoyed the music is going towards our wide range of services for homeless people to make sure that we truly can help vulnerable people to end their experience of homelessness for good.

The wonderful performers, from a host of West End shows such as Les Miserables, The Commitments and Once, very generously gave up their time to busk for us.  Huge thanks to all of them: Brian Gilligan, Jordan Lee Davies, Cam and Jake Sharp, Jamie Muscato, Sophie Reid, Luke Paul Newton, Jordan Shaw, and Danny Colligan.

For photos and clips of the event, visit the West End Big Busk twitter page (@WestEndBigBusk).

We cannot wait to see what the next West End Big Busk has to offer.  Please join us on Thursday 11th June at 12pm in Cardinal Place, Victoria, as we enjoy more fantastic performances from some of the West End’s top stars!

And if you can’t wait until then, here’s a taster of the musical talent from the previous event…
