GDPR and The Passage

The new data protection law affects all organisations that use personal data – which is information that can identify an individual through a name, reference or image. The law, which incorporates the General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR, requires organisations to take personal data seriously and gives individuals more rights to their data.

The Passage have always treated personal data seriously and we hold all data with privacy and respect in mind; whether a client we support, a donor who supports us; or staff, volunteers and partners who we work with. Everyone at the Passage has ongoing training and advice around data protection, and we have policies in place and a culture of mutual respect around personal information; all of which is in line with our values.

In terms of direct marketing by email, we only contact people who have consented or we already have a relationship with. If you do inadvertently receive a communication from us that was not expected, please let us know and we will correct our records immediately.

Do contact us if you would like a printed copy of our privacy statement.
