Senior management team
Mick has been Chief Executive at The Passage since 2009.
Mick started his career as a youth worker, later moving into work with young homeless people. He worked for several homelessness organisations before joining The Passage and is currently a member of the Advisory Panel for the Anti-Slavery Commissioner.
As CEO of The Passage Mick is responsible for the strategic direction of the organisation and ensuring that The Passage grows and develops to meet the ever changing needs of their clients.
Jane joined The Passage as Chief Operating Officer in May 2019. She has over 25 years of experience in the arts and charity sector working within senior finance roles. Jane is responsible for the operational side of The Passage which includes Finance, HR, IT, facilities, data management and volunteering.
Emma joined The Passage in January 2018 as Head of Income Generation and Communications bringing with her a wealth of charity sector experience.
Her previous roles include Head of High Value Partnerships at Guide Dogs and Head of Corporate Partnerships at Barnardo’s.
Emma manages The Passage’s fundraising and communications strategies. She is responsible for developing new income opportunities and sustainable revenue streams, which includes The Passage’s conference venue, Cathedral View and for generating public awareness of the charity.
Jenny joined The Passage in January 2021 as Director of Services and New Developments and brings 17 years’ experience of working with individuals experiencing homelessness.
Jenny started as a volunteer at Broadway and moved into local government at Westminster City Council, ending her time there as the Head of Rough Sleeping.
Jenny is responsible for our frontline services, developing partnerships, policy and developments, and demonstrating our outstanding outcomes and impact.
Lorraine leads on services delivered from the Resource Centre and our Newman Street project. She has been at the Passage for almost 10 years and before coming here was London Regional Manager for Depaul UK.
Her background has been working with young people aged 16-25 for over 20 years. She started out working as a project worker for teenage parents, followed by a Team Leader, later moving into management and becoming responsible for delivering Employment and Training services.
Lorraine also served on the Board of a local housing association until 2014. Lorraine is very values lead and passionate about ensuring we deliver quality services across all of our projects.
Midori joined The Passage in 2008 as our Outreach Manager and has been heading up our Prevention and Accommodation Services as Prevention and Accommodation Manager since November 2016.
She has 16 years of experience in the homelessness sector, having previously worked with Equinox doing street based substance misuse work with rough sleepers in Islington and Westminster.
Midori also has substantial private sector experience from previous roles ranging as a Director of small couture house; working with SME boards, chairmen and non-executive directors, to develop good practice around corporate governance and heading up the Banqueting department at a large golf and tennis resort in the US.
Samantha joined the Passage in 2013. Samantha has over twenty-five years of HR experience having previously worked in HR departments for British Gas, the National Health Service, Office Depot and Depaul UK.
As The Passage’s Human Resources Manager, she is responsible for implementing a comprehensive, high quality, customer focused HR service that is mindful of and promotes the charity’s vision, mission, values and strategic aims.
