Community integration

In order for the housing solutions we provide to be truly sustainable, it is crucial that the people we support feel like valued members of the community.

Our teams work with those who have recently resettled into private rented accommodation, to connect them to local groups and services.

We also run our very own befriending scheme – Home for Good – which you can find out more about below.

Home for good

Home for Good is The Passage’s London-wide community integration scheme.

Community volunteers are recruited to walk alongside people who are settling into new accommodation and areas after experiencing homelessness. During regular social meetings, these befriending partnerships explore the local area, building connections and linking with opportunities.

The aim is that the partnerships will help foster a sense of purpose, encourage people to fulfil their potential and reduce the risk of repeat homelessness.

Home for Good is open to referrals from agencies and individuals across London. We have a new partnership with SHP (Single Homeless Project), supporting people across north London boroughs. For more information please get in touch.

If you feel you can help those who have experienced homelessness to settle into your local community, please consider joining #TeamPassage.

We are currently recruiting for a number of Home for Good Community Volunteers.
