Our Ambassadors
Kevin Danso
Professional footballer and Tottenham Hotspur centre back, Kevin Danso became one of The Passage’s newest celebrity supporters (August 2025).
As an ambassador, Kevin will use his platform to raise awareness of homelessness, challenge the stereotypes that surround it, and support The Passage in reaching more people with our life-changing services. His role will also help strengthen our fundraising efforts, ensuring we can continue to provide vital support to those who need it most.
Kevin’s ambassadorship reflects his deep commitment to giving back.
“Visiting The Passage has been a humbling and eye-opening experience. Meeting people with lived experience of homelessness and hearing their stories has shown me how important it is to challenge misconceptions and offer real support.I am proud to stand alongside The Passage as an ambassador and hope to use my voice to make a difference. Supporting causes like this is very important to me, and I see it as a continuation of my work in Ghana and through my foundation in Austria.”
Dara Ó Briain
Dara Ó Briain, renowned stand-up comedian and television presenter, has been a dedicated supporter of The Passage since 2020.
He has headlined our popular Comedy Night, Laughter to the Rafters, every year since its launch, helping the event to sell out annually.
As a passionate advocate for The Passage’s mission, Dara actively supports our fundraising campaigns, including our annual Christmas Big Give. He also represented The Passage at the ICAP Charity Day in 2020, helping to amplify our efforts to end homelessness.

Luis Diaz
Liverpool and Colombian footballer, Luis Diaz, became an Ambassador of The Passage in February of 2023.
Growing up in a small Colombian town where opportunities for a better future were scarce, Luis explained that these experiences are what inspired him to help shine a light on homelessness and poverty in the UK.
“I feel very lucky to have been introduced to The Passage and to have spent time learning about their plans to tackle homelessness. This is something I care deeply about. I hope my role as Ambassador will help raise awareness and give people in the UK the same hope and opportunity, I was so lucky to receive as a young boy”
Our Patrons
HRH Prince of Wales – Royal Patron
Prince William first visited The Passage in 1993 with his mother Diana – HRH Princess of Wales – marking the start of his journey and passion to prevent and end homelessness in the UK.
In February 2019, The Prince of Wales officially announced his Royal Patronage of The Passage. In the years leading up to and since then, he has visited many times both publicly and in a private capacity.
Cardinal Vincent Nichols – Patron
Cardinal Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster, joined The Passage as our Patron in 2009.
On being appointed as Archbishop of Westminster he took on the duties of Patron of The Passage.
As soon as he was appointed Archbishop Vincent was keen to visit The Passage and spend time in the Resource Centre getting to talk to those we support.
