The Art of The Possible: Our New Strategy to Prevent and End Homelessness

About us > Our three-year strategy

At The Passage, we believe the time has come to reframe homelessness – not as something to be managed, but as something to be prevented.

We’re proud to launch The Art of The Possible: our bold new three-year (2025-2028) strategy to prevent and end homelessness for good.

This strategy has been developed in partnership with our Lived Experience Assembly (LEA) and reflects their unique position, contributing to all aspects of our work and advising The Passage on our future direction.

We believe that lasting change can only be achieved when the voices of those
directly affected by homelessness are heard and acted upon.

Shaping our new strategy

Preventing homelessness before it starts, with urgent interventions and expanded services like our No Night Out scheme.

Convening partners across sectors to influence policy and develop systemic solutions – including new work on human trafficking.

Sustaining meaningful outcomes through community integration, property expansion, and long-term funding.

Collaboration underpins everything that we do at The Passage, as no single organisation can end homelessness on their own; when we work together, we know that we can achieve so much more

We believe everyone has a role to play. Be part of London’s transformation.

It is a failure of systems, not individuals. Together, we can make homelessness a thing of the past – not by simply managing it, but by preventing it wherever possible.

This is a strategy built on compassion, collaboration, and evidence – shaped by those who have lived through homelessness, and driven by the belief that real change is not only necessary, but possible.
