We are seeking volunteers who can volunteer for a minimum of one hour between 7.00 - 22.00.
All tube collections take place on a TUESDAY OR A THURSDAY:

Team Information

The station collectors team consists mainly of volunteers coordinated by a Volunteer Rota Coordinator who organizes the various rotas from home. He is supported by a member of our fundraising team who oversees community fundraising.

The team also collect at Victoria mainline station once per month but we are not currently recruiting new volunteers for that group. This may change in the future but Victoria mainline station requires a minimum four hour commitment which can be done as two separate two hour slots.

About this Role

You will be collecting funds from members of the public and distributing leaflets about The Passage in TfL Underground Stations. Each collector will wear an attractive Passage collection tabard and use a pre-numbered sealed collection tin.

Tasks will include:

  • Standing on tube station concourse collecting cash donations from the public
  • Giving leaflets about The Passage to members of the public

Qualities needed:

  • Aged 18 or over - essential
  • Able to stand for the duation of a shift - essential
  • Friendly and confident in speaking to members of the public
  • Reliability and good time keeping
  • Able to adhere to our fundraising code and The Passage policies and procedures

What you can expect:

  • Instruction, guidance and support to carry out your role effectively
  • Travel expenses reimbursed in line with our Finance Policy
