After finding himself in a homelessness crisis, Sean found a route back into work and accommodation with support from The Passage.
Sean moved to London to start a new job, but found himself homeless when the offer fell through and his landlord sold the property he was residing in. So, he sought support at The Passage Resource Centre, where he connected with the Tracks Employment, Training and Volunteering Team through a CV Clinic drop in.
Sean already had a construction skills qualification but had so far been unsuccessful in securing a job due to lack of funds, accommodation, and support.
He was assigned a Tracks Employment coach who supported Sean to upgrade his CV and to apply for construction jobs in London. Through a local partner, the Tracks team supported Sean to secure a position on a construction site.
The Passage provided Sean with work clothing and steel capped boots for him to be fully equipped for his first day of work. The team also contributed to travel costs until Sean received his first paycheck, helping him overcome initial financial challenges.
Sean is now working full-time and in secure accommodation.
